As a Year 10 student at Parade College, I write this petition because our safety at school should never be compromised. Yet, day after day, students face bullying, fights, and threats without proper intervention.

Parade College promotes an image of discipline and order, but behind closed doors, the reality is much different. Reports of harassment, violence, and intimidation frequently go unnoticed or unaddressed, leaving students vulnerable and unheard. Instead of actively protecting us, the school seems more invested in preserving its reputation than addressing the serious issues affecting students.

Rules exist to maintain control, yet when it comes to real safety concerns , there is a glaring lack of urgency. The phone ban prevents students from accessing help when they need it. The disciplinary measures focus on punishment rather than prevention , failing to create a safer environment for students. 

This petition calls for immediate action to protect students at Parade College. We demand clear anti-bullying policies, accessible reporting systems, and direct intervention when safety is at risk. If we are expected to trust our school, then our school must prove it is worthy of that trust .
