In in grasslands and rainforests around Asia and Africa a very peculiar creature can be found; the pangolin. A pangolin is a type of anteater that possesses scales, these scales allow for protection from the various predators inhabiting the environment. Unfortunately these scales are also the reason 2.7 million individuals are poached each year. It is imperative that this changes as they are one of the main predators of the termite. Without pangolins termites would be able to destroy the trees in rainforests and grasslands. This would cause massive damage and threaten all of the other creatures inhabiting the lands.
