Residents against Woven Oaks
Why this petition matters
Taylor Wimpey has just released details of their latest proposed building site for Kidderminster, it extends to 1,400 new houses.
This will
Notably increase your commute and journey times by adding significant traffic to our already overcrowded road network. Construction traffic alone will account for approximately 2,500 heavy vehicle movements per week for the 15 year duration of the build, followed by an additional 3,000 permanent vehicles making 3 return trips/day (gov.uk data) for a total of 18,000 vehicle movements/day added to Kidderminster traffic.
Decimate hundreds of acres of prime green belt yet suitable brown field sites remain derelict and untouched.
Stretch local services more than ever before – with more residents come longer wait times for doctors’ appointments, hospital treatment and school places.
