Update

Dear all,

Thank you for supporting the campaign for the proposed cycle lanes across the Southside.  I have been in touch with Glasgow City Council regarding the cycle lanes currently being proposed  (Titwood Road, Darnley Road, Nithsdale Road and Maxwell Road).  I hope many of you have had the opportunity to contact GCC as well as your local councillors to raise your concerns. 

I have been provided with feedback there is an engagement to review and comment on more detailed plans Sept/Oct 26.  According to GCC residents will receive leaflets beforehand.  However, considering many of the residents did not receive anything first time around I have doubts they will be issuing anything through our doors. 

Therefore, please look out for letter drops, notices in venues (such as local libraries), local newspaper, social media posts, and the GCC website so we can fully engage and raise our concerns via public engagement.  There should be an online survey available as well soon and I believe feedback is collated via the survey therefore, I urge you to complete this as well.  

I will be happy to provide further updates and links via this channel.  Please keep encouraging others to participate.  I have updated the cycle lane flyer for anyone to download and pass on.
