Protect Our Land for Dog Rescue and Rehabilitation

The Issue

My journey began when I first met Miah, a German Shepard, who was a skittish dog at first at our local Pontefract dog rehoming kennels. It wasn't long before we became the best of friends -- she's now 8 years old and my trusty companion. This experience inspired me to turn a small, initially waste bit of land I had adverse possessed for over a decade, into a sanctuary for dogs, particularly German Shepards and Huskies. This land has become a safe and habitable refuge where our rescued dogs could run and live freely.

However, our sanctuary is in danger of being bought over for industrial use. We need your support to protect our land and continue rescuing dogs, providing them the love, temporary or permanent homes they need. In the UK, stray dogs number upwards of 100,000, with an increasing number being euthanized each year (RSCPA, 2020). Our rescue home represents more than just a property, but a chance of survival for these dogs.

Let's stand together against the encroachment of cruel industrial purposes and protect the safe haven we've built for our canine friends. Your signature can make a difference. Sign our petition to save our land for dog rescue.

Because I have adverse possessed the land and open it up from flytipping and Japanese knot weed the title owners have now seen the potential and want to try and sell this land the owners are wdh (Wakefield District housing) my current housing association and now are threatening my tenancy as they say I am trespassing on there land. So my property that I live in is currently at stake for me to lose they are taking me to court to evict me for choosing this home for my rescue dogs and I am willing to lose this to save my dogs home so they don't have to move. They have never bothered me or kept up with the maintenance of the land for over 14 years I've maintained the land over 10 so are withing my rights to put in to claim that land by the land registry please help me get as many signatures press follows or anything you can do to help the dogs keep there forever home.
