Protect Our Children: Stop Inappropriate and Sexually Explicit Materials in Schools

The Issue

We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the introduction of sexually explicit and age-inappropriate materials in our schools. Children are being exposed to sensitive and potentially confusing topics without the necessary emotional maturity or parental consent, which many believe is both harmful and irresponsible.

We call on our school boards and government officials to:

1. Immediately remove all sexually explicit or age-inappropriate materials from classrooms, surveys, and educational programs.

2. Institute an "opt-in" policy for any discussions related to sexuality, ensuring that parents are fully informed and able to consent to their child’s participation in such lessons.

3. Focus educational efforts on core academic subjects — reading, math, science, and history — rather than introducing concepts that may be more appropriate for later stages of a child’s development.

4. Provide transparency by making all teaching materials available for public review, allowing concerned parents and community members to stay informed.

We believe that schools should be places of academic growth, personal development, and safety. It is imperative that parents, educators, and community leaders work together to ensure that children’s emotional and developmental well-being is prioritized above all else.

By signing this petition, we are sending a clear message that we will not tolerate the sexualization of children in our educational system. We demand better for our children’s futures.
