Our school community are asking for your support. Our school is losing a teacher next year because we are short by just one pupil. This will greatly affect our children and the school community. We are a Deis Plus school which means the pupil:teacher ratio is 17:1. If this teaching post is removed, some classes in the school will have a 22:1 pupil:teacher ratio. For many schools this may not seem significant, but for a school serving a community with high levels of disadvantage the consequences will be enormous.

We are asking everyone to please sign and share our petition to help us keep our teacher and protect our class sizes to give the children the education they deserve. Your support would mean so much to us.
