Justice for Renesmay Eutsey – Hold Her Foster Mother Accountable

Why This Matters
On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, 9-year-old Renesmay Eutsey, who had developmental disabilities and was under the care of her foster mother, was tragically reported missing from her home in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. She was last seen in the early morning hours—around 2 a.m.—and officials noted that her phone briefly pinged around 6 a.m., suggesting she was still at home at that time  
Heartbreakingly, on Thursday, September 4, 2025, Renesmay’s body was found partially submerged along the bank of the Youghiogheny River, roughly 20 miles from her home.

What We Know
Foster mother Kourtney Malinda Eutsey (31) now faces serious criminal charges: criminal homicide, aggravated assault, child endangerment, abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, and concealing a child’s death  .

Witnesses — other children in the home — described disturbing scenes, including physical abuse of Renesmay and overheard plans to dispose of her body “far, far away”    .
The autopsy and criminal complaint revealed that Renesmay was malnourished, bore bruises and cigarette burns, and died from physical abuse and a lack of medical attention, rather than any natural cause   .
Renesmay’s disappearance was not immediately reported — hours passed before the foster parents reported her missing, despite knowing her whereabouts   .We are demanding:

Swift justice and prosecution of Kourtney Eutsey for all appropriate charges.
A full and independent investigation into the role of other adults in the household, including the legal guardian, Sarah Shipley, to ensure that all accountable parties face scrutiny.
Reform of protective oversight systems to prevent abuse from being overlooked, especially when children with disabilities — like Renesmay — are involved.
Support for the siblings, also placed in harm’s way, including counseling and care to aid in their healing
