The Brother Bennos Center at 3260 Production Ave in the Oceanside Industrial Park has been causing significant issues for nearby businesses, Oceanside residents, and property owners. For many years, as a result of the Brother Bennos Center operations, nearby businesses, property owners, and residents have been constantly dealing with issues ranging from loitering, encampment, public urination and defecation to littering, drug/alcohol use, prostitution, vandalism, and theft.

Brother Bennos has been largely ineffective in keeping these issues under control and from causing major disruptions and damages to nearby businesses, residents, and property owners. Brother Bennos is currently operating under a conditional-use-permit (CUP) and has been neglecting its responsibilities under that CUP. In signing this petition, Oceanside businesses, property owners, and residents  are uniting in strong opposition to the CUP and are requesting that the City of Oceanside revoke the CUP.
