PROTECT NORTH EAST RAPTORS by demanding ACEN reduces the size and numbers of Wind Turbines

The issue

Endangered Tasmanian Wedge Tailed Eagles and White Bellied Sea Eagles numbers will be impacted by the, current ACEN application, to build Wind Turbines at Waterhouse/Rushy Lagoon, Far NE Tasmania.

Currently there are only 250 adult breeding pairs of ENDANGERED Tasmanian Wedgies + approx. 80 Adolescents in Tasmania with the Far North East contributing to the wild population.

It is expected that ACEN will commence Wind Turbine construction in 2026/2027, with Local, State and Federal approvals so its important that WE make our voices heard ,"PROTECT TASMANIAN RAPTORS BY REDUCING THE SIZE AND NUMBERS OF WIND TURBINES up in the FAR NORTH EAST."
