I'm flooded with emotions.

More than 2,100 people have signed this petition. But what’s really hitting me are the stories, the testimony, the comments, the videos families have shared privately and publicly.

Parents.

Former staff.

Disabled adults.

People who said:

“This happened to my child too.”

“I tried to report it.”

“No one believed us.”

“There were no cameras.”

“There was no proof.”

I have heard from some of the people tagged here directly. I have cried reading your messages.

And I need you to know something important:

People ARE paying attention now.

Conversations are happening.

Lawmakers are seeing this.

Advocates are pushing.

New laws ARE going to happen.

Because once the public understands that non-verbal children can be isolated, restrained, injured, mocked, or neglected behind closed doors with no independent record at all — they cannot unsee it.

This movement is not about punishment.

It’s about protection.

Transparency.

Accountability.

And dignity for children who cannot always tell us what happened to them.

Thank you to every parent who spoke up even when it hurt.

Thank you to every whistleblower.

Thank you to every person who signed and shared this.

Please keep sharing this petition.

The children deserve witnesses.
