Accessibility isn't only about getting through the door.

Sometimes accessibility means predictability. Clear information. Enough processing time. Understanding that changing a plan repeatedly can have an impact even when each individual change seems small.

It can mean recognising that someone who appears to be coping may be using an enormous amount of energy to keep adapting.

A year on from my petition reaching Parliament, I still believe we need community spaces where different ways of processing the world aren't merely accommodated as an afterthought, but understood from the beginning.
