Community spaces aren't simply buildings or activities.

For many people they provide routine, friendship, confidence, independence, support and belonging.

For neurodivergent people especially, having somewhere familiar where you're understood can make an enormous difference.

That's why I continue to speak up about protecting and recognising the value of community spaces.

A community isn't just somewhere you live.

It's somewhere you're able to belong.
