I still believe strongly in the importance of community spaces

I still believe strongly in the importance of community spaces — places where people can meet, belong, take part and find opportunities without everything having to be formal or complicated.

For somebody who can struggle with finding a sense of purpose or knowing where they fit, having accessible places to connect with other people can make an enormous difference.

Community isn't just about having buildings.

It's about creating places where people feel welcome, useful and included.
