📣 We are being seen — and June 9 is now the next major line in the sand! 📣

After strong public turnout at the April 21 board meeting, local coverage by The Desert Trumpet helped bring even more attention to what families have been saying all along: before any school closure moves forward, the district must show real alternatives, real savings, and real community impact, none of which was shown. 

Now the Board has asked the Enrollment Committee to bring closure options forward on June 9.

That means this petition matters more than ever!

Every signature, every share, and every person who shows up is helping make this issue public, visible, and harder to push through quietly.

Just your presence and representation of your neighborhood school makes a colossal difference.

If you want to speak:

• Comment on an agenda item when it comes up, or during public comment at the end.
• Fill out a yellow slip and hand it to district's communication officer.
• If you are unsure, come anyway — other parents will be there and can help you through it

You do not need to be an expert. You just need to show up.

We are visible. We are growing. And we are not done asking questions.
