Thank you to everyone who’s signed and supported our effort to bring balance back to our skies and neighborhoods. The next step is to come together as a community… please join our Facebook group where residents can share updates, organize, and take action:
We all know the situation: flight school operations are constant, repetitive, and excessive. Day after day, these training aircraft circle the same neighborhoods, generating continuous noise that disrupts families, students, and outdoor life.
But it’s not just noise, each of these planes is still burning leaded aviation fuel (100LL), which releases concentrated lead particles directly over our homes, parks, and schools. This is a toxic pollutant that the EPA has already acknowledged as unsafe, especially for children. Yet, the FAA continues to allow the same pattern of operations, over and over, with no accountability or mitigation.
Our Facebook group is a space where:
Neighbors can discuss flight school issues and their impacts.
We can share public noise complaints and help each other document them.
Residents can coordinate to hold officials and agencies accountable, especially when the FAA ignores or “files away” community concerns.
It’s time our voices are heard. The skies belong to all of us, not just flight schools profiting from endless training loops.
Join us today and be part of a growing movement demanding fairness, safety, and peace in our neighborhoods.
