Thank you to everyone who’s signed and shared this petition so far, your voices matter. But we need to keep the pressure on.

While most Mesa residents and pilots support responsible general aviation, what we’re seeing from CAE Phoenix at Falcon Field is anything but responsible. CAE has turned what should be a community airport into a nonstop training zone, with repetitive flight patterns over neighborhoods from sunrise to late at night.

This is not partnership, it’s exploitation. Mesa has been a generous, aviation-friendly city, welcoming flight schools and aviation businesses in good faith. But CAE has taken that hospitality and pushed it past its limits. Their international training operation floods our skies, disturbs our neighborhoods, and ignores the Fly Friendly principles meant to protect residents’ quality of life.

Worse, CAE’s relentless training volume is now driving the discussion about new landing fees at Falcon Field, costs that could impact all pilots and operators. In other words, they’ve overused our community resources to the point where the entire airport may have to pay the price.

Mesa deserves better neighbors. Responsible aviation should mean respecting the people on the ground, not overwhelming them. CAE must be held accountable for its overuse and disregard for our community.

Let’s keep spreading the word, share this petition, talk to your neighbors, and remind city leaders that Mesa’s goodwill should never be taken for granted.
