Hello!

I just wanted to reach out to let you know we’ve just passed 1,749 signatures on our petition! We're so close to 2,000! Thank you so much for your support.

Since starting the petition two weeks ago, I have been interviewed by the media twice, and have a third interview scheduled for this week.

In my discussions with folks, I continue to communicate that the Greenway is a valuable and necessary project to provide connectivity in sustainable ways throughout the city as our population grows, however, as the Greenway expands, it must do so with integrity to the land, parks and communities it goes through.

Paving through Mud Creek Loop lacks consideration for each of you, and to so many others.

The City of San Antonio needs to acknowledge those that seek quiet or nature as legitimate user groups and preserve one of the few remaining places you can find that in a centrally located city park.

The City also needs to acknowledge the repairs and basic improvements desperately needed in McAllister Park. You deserve working bathrooms, repaired trails, maintained picnic areas and roads that aren’t closed off for years. These things should be fixed first.

Will you help us gain more support by sharing this petition with one other person? We're so close to 2,000! Your signatures show that natural experiences within the city and the health of McAllister Park matter.
