Voters in Louisiana deserve better than to have dead people sent mail in ballots for three years after they die, interdicted people kept on voter rolls for thirteen years; and people allowed to vote twice by mailing in a ballot and going to the polls to vote where their name wasn’t stamped out on the rolls. Yet all of these things could have allowed me and my own family members to vote in Caddo Parish. I complained to our voter registrar staff for Years before i got my deceased father and interdicted sister-in-law removed from the rolls. I used a mail in ballot  in October 2023 only to have my husband see my name not stamped on the voter rolls at the poll. Registrars need to be required to purge dead, interdicted and felons from the rolls within 30 days of these incidents and have a required annual audit to see that it was done. Mail in ballot voters should not be allowed to vote again and enough time given to allow All people with  mail in ballots have their name clearly stamped out to not allow double voting. Defective mail in ballots should not be counted. Errors should be corrected and votes not certified where there are such errors as No percentage of errors is acceptable to your Louisiana voters. As our Representatives control these voting procedures we are asking you to fix these and other problems immediately. Our close elections can easily be manipulated by only a few of these “errors”.
