Update Requested from Officials!!

Just to update everyone, the trail hasn't gone cold. We are still trying to keep you updated about the waste services for taxpayers. At this time two separate emails have been sent out to County Judge Rodger McLane and the County Commissioners Court along with City Manager Brooke Lipsey and City Council.

Dear Panola County Judge and Commissioners Court, City Manager and City Council;

I am requesting an update regarding the proposed changes involving the Panola County Transfer Station.

Specifically, please advise:

Has any survey, study, feasibility analysis, or other evaluation related to this matter been completed or initiated? If so, what is its current status?
Are there any ongoing or anticipated negotiations between Panola County, the City of Carthage, Waste Connections, ETCOG, or any other party concerning the transfer station or proposed operational changes?
Has any proposed amendment, addendum, or agreement been approved, executed, or otherwise advanced since this matter was last discussed publicly?
Are any future meetings or agenda items planned regarding this issue?
Are there any other updates on this issue?
