Where do your local candidates stand on Langthorne Park?

We’ve now had more than 190 people sign the petition in less than a week — thank you to everyone who’s supported it so far.
With the local elections next Thursday, we contacted all parties standing candidates in Cathall and Cann Hall to ask where they stand on the proposed changes to Langthorne Park.
Susan Catten (Waltham Forest Independent Socialists, Cathall) has now signed the petition, showing her support for our call to halt further changes until there has been proper, transparent community engagement.
No other parties have provided official responses yet.
However, Naheed Asghar and Aisha Abubakar, both standing for Labour in Cathall, have offered to meet after the election to visit the park and hear residents’ concerns, which we really welcome.
We’ll continue to update as more responses come in.
In the meantime, the petition is still growing — please do share it with anyone who wants to protect the park.
