Did anyone know about these changes to Langthorne Park?

The one thing we keep hearing: no one knew this was happening.

People who use Langthorne Park every week are only just finding out now - after the plans are already well developed.

That raises serious questions about the consultation. The council says these proposals were shaped by community engagement in 2024 , but the level of awareness we’re seeing simply doesn’t match that.

So we’ve submitted a Freedom of Information request to find out what actually happened - how many people responded, who was reached, and how feedback was used:
