Protect Hilder Pearson Elementary School In Poulsbo, WA

The Issue

Recently, there was a vote to pass a levy that would mean rebuilding Pearson Elementary School. The reasoning behind this levy was that the school was old, it needed new pipes, etc. These things are true; however, I want to walk through those same halls when I graduate. I don't want to go to a foreign building, all high-tech and not anything like the elementary school I grew up in. Sign this petition so Pearson Elementary School's utilities are remodeled, but not the entire building. Let the kids graduating in the next 4, 5, or 6 years look back on their school as they walk through those halls and remember their elementary school years without the intrusion of new, fancier surroundings.

We can achieve this goal by revamping the pipes (re-piping), installing new facilities (new toilets, sinks, water fountains, etc.), re-roofing, and more! We need your help to raise money for this expensive project, so that teachers, students, and future graduates' memories match the walls. Thanks for your support!
