The Issue

Rohen Felsted, a highly mature and promising young boy, is currently stuck with the Mountain Lion Camp group, where he is being held back from reaching his full potential. Rohen, blessed with a bright mind and a compassionate heart, deserves opportunities that foster his growth and allow him to shine. Instead, the current environment at the camp is stifling his progress.

Mountain Lion Camp, while providing some benefits, is not suited for exceptional individuals like Rohen. At his age, he should be in a place where he is encouraged to explore, learn, and develop his talents. Rohen has consistently demonstrated leadership skills and a keen sense of responsibility, often taking initiative to help both peers and mentors. This kind of talent and diligence should not be overlooked or wasted.

Studies show that children who are placed in environments that do not challenge them fail to reach their academic and personal potential. According to the National Association for Gifted Children, recognizing and nurturing the talents of bright young people leads to higher self-esteem and better educational outcomes. Rohen needs to be in a program that recognizes his talents and fosters them, not a generalized camp that doesn't cater to his advanced abilities.

We urge the camp administrators and relevant authorities to reconsider Rohen's placement and provide him with options that align better with his capabilities. There are several programs and educational initiatives in our community designed for children like him, where he could thrive, be challenged, and prepare for an inspiring future.

Join us in our effort to ensure Rohen Felsted receives the support and environment he deserves. By signing this petition, you will help us send a message to those in charge that every child, especially those with exceptional abilities, has the right to an education and environment that nurtures their unique gifts.
