Stats Canada's Agricultural Census for Leeds and Grenville tells us that over 15 years the county has lost 72,760 acres (328,040 in 2006 to 255,280 in 2021). That's approximately 22% of farmland. It's also important to note that farmland is a finite, non-renewable resource.

The 13 acres agricultural zoned land is owned by the municipality of NG.

NG already has a store of residential & development land for SMART development & growth.
