In its maintenance of the Shark Park Golf Course, the city of San Francisco has violated the Endangered Species Act by harming and killing threatened red-legged frogs and San Francisco garter snakes.

In response, a collection of six conservation groups, including The Sierra Club, Sequoia Audubon, Wild Equity Institute and Center for Biological Diversity, have filed suit.

Their cause deserves our support.
