Hello everyone

As you may have heard, recently there have been two swans from eastville park put down, one of which due to fishing line/hook being internally embedded and causing painful infection. This has prompted people to share further concerns about the lake such as witness accounts of a scooter hitting a swan. I think that fishing there should be banned and a sign installed saying its for the protection of wildlife to prompt local park users to challenge the behaviour. I also suggest obstacles at either end of the lake path to slow down scooters/bicycles. I think these measures would make the lake a more peaceful and harmonious place for park lovers and local wildlife. Thank you for reading
