Section 47 is meant to protect children from abuse and neglect.

But too many disabled children and their families are now being harmed by misuse of Section 47 — simply because parents raised safety concerns, refused unsafe respite, or stood up for their child’s wellbeing.

This is not safeguarding.

This is punishing parents for protecting their child.
