We support safeguarding and Section 47 when it is used properly to protect children from real harm.

But safeguarding must never be misused to punish parents who protect their disabled children, raise safety concerns, or refuse unsafe care.

Parents should not be labelled “non-cooperative” for responsible parenting.

Disabled children deserve safety, dignity, and protection — not systems that retaliate against families.
