The Issue

The future of Australia depends on its children, and the future of children depends on stable, healthy families.

It is the fundamental duty of fathers to protect their families and prepare their children for the future. No one has the right to remove this responsibility without clear and legitimate cause. Except in cases where it is not possible, supervised contact should be supported by law between fathers and children in order to protect their rights and child's wellbeing.

Australia’s current family law system often disrupts families and harms children. In family disputes fathers are usually removed from their homes based solely on allegations, without proper investigation or evidence. This process results in neglect and trauma for children. This unfair practice punishes both fathers and children, breaking emotional bonds and causing lasting harm.

For a healthy society, families need real solutions and support, not automatic and harsh interventions. The system should prioritise appropriate support services, instead of procedural legal interventions that lead to bigger problems. Authorities must act urgently to address this underlying issue causing the growing mental health problems among children and young people, as well as rising youth crime rates.

Parents who are aware of current world events know that someone has intentions of separating our children from us and using them for their own purposes. Let's not serve their interests through our family or parenting conflicts. Let’s protect our children, who are a gift and a trust from God.

Current judicial practices are harming families. Police and courts too often treat removal of fathers as the solution, based solely on a spouse’s allegations. Men are usually deemed guilty without thorough investigation or evidence. The system too often escalates the situation through harsh police intervention followed by harsh court intervention. Although the Australian Constitution guarantees equality between men and women, this is not reflected in the family law practice.

Justice for Children, Family and the Fathers.

Harmful family law, intervention order and parenting practices that lead to unnecessary separation and distress for children. Reform family law to protect family, children and fathers. The practices, end of the day, ultimately harm many women as well.

In some cases, family violence laws are misused in Australia, some women at a small dispute creating conflict within the family and taking advantage of government support systems. In some cases, intervention orders are used strategically in family disputes, when some women can not exert pressure and control over their spouse or want to avoid responsibility. The misuse of legal protections directly harms spouses and children and their rights are restricted.

Inappropriate intervention orders in family disputes result in severe punishment and harm to individuals other than the complainant. If authorities truly care about children, families should be directed to counseling and family therapy or support services during intervention order proceedings. Where children are involved, allegations must be properly investigated.

The women mentioned here are not real victims of violence, those who seek personal advantage by creating conflict within the family and accessing support through false or exaggerated claims. Also, women who do these mistakenly while they are depressed, are in a separate category.

Tragically, some parents are neglecting and using their children as tools in adult conflict, knownly or unknownly. In psychology, this behaviour is described as devouring mother, controlling or enmeshed parenting patterns. Psychology describes this type of manipulation as harmful to children. In many cases of domestic conflict, spouses can not get necessary support that are depressed or have mental health problems. Even couples who are expecting a child should be encouraged to get parenting support for the wellbeing of children.

Families are falling apart because they do not receive the support they need, and children are the most affected. In family disputes, intervention between spouses may occur, but severing the bond between children and their fathers based solely on allegations is unfair and cruel. Reports from child impact writers are often prepared without sufficient consideration, particularly when children are shy or unable to express themselves freely.

It is clear that the number of vulnerable and troubled children and young people is increasing. The future depends on children, and the future of children depends on stable, healthy families. Therefore, family law and judicial practices that harm children, families, individuals and society, must be reformed urgently.
