In 2020 1750 children have died due to abuse and neglect from an abusive parent. In 2019 5 year old A.J Freund of crystal lake IL (Mchenry County) was killed by two people he was supposed to feel loved and protected by, his parents. Multiple report through dcfs were made and this 5 year old boy was still murdered. The system failed him. Not only him but the other 1000’s of children each year that get murdered by a parent or parents that could have been prevented! Children around the world are being forced to see a parent(s) that has a history of domestic violence, neglect on a current child, drug and alcohol addiction, felony charges, rape charges, and so much more. Children are suffering, they need help. 
 
  If the court system and family law does not change these murder, neglect, physical and mental abuse numbers will only continue to go up. Children all over the world are at stake. There will be more trauma that these poor children have to face, risking their life to see a parent(s) that will potentially cause and irreversible affect on their lives. History of a parent matters, a court order of protection matters, a history of addiction and domestic violence matters.

It’s time to act now, now while these numbers are rising and children are being forced into situations they do not want to be in. Forced into situations that a parent or family member know is unsafe for that child. Mothers and fathers trying their best to keep their children safe from an another parent and the court system failing them. This should have been done years ago but their is no better time than the present. It’s time to fight for these innocent children, give them a life they deserve, give them a voice.
