A member of the Souderton Area School districts board posted an opinion about a political prospect for the United States Presidential election. He is now being attacked for voicing an opinion, which is granted to all Americans by the first amendment. His opinions were not posted on SASD affiliated sites, nor did he involve the school district in any of his posts from his private Facebook page. There are many out there demanding that he resign but, they have no right to make such demands based on the fact that,  as American citizens we are free to express our options openly and without consequences. I can assure you that if the vast majority of those making the demands have posted equally strong opinions about the opposing candidate and would state that it was there right to do so when questioned. Stand for the constitution and for Bill Formica’s rights of the first amendment and to have an opinion.
