Teachers are now banning students from taking their phones in the bathrooms. Why is that? Just to add some fuel to your fire...early this week the administrator called you "distractions" in a video sent to parents and shared on social media.  

Instead of seeing the 2990 people who signed petitions, the 100+ who came to the school board meeting, and the thirteen who spoke as concerned parents and citizens, he calls us distractions.  

Please write to  agschoolbd@avongrove.org.  It will reach all the school board members and the administration.

Let them know where you stand on this issue. Three school board members are conservative and want the policy written. Six members are liberal and want to allow different sexes to share bathrooms and locker rooms. 

"The school board meets on Tuesday, September 10 at 6 PM (at the Intermediate school) to discuss the writing of a policy protecting our students from sharing bathrooms and locker rooms with people of the opposite sex.

We must remain vigilant and attend the meeting on the 10th, and every other meeting afterward to encourage them to do the right thing for all the students.
