Thank you to over 100+ people who attended to support our girls and special thanks to those who spoke on their child's behalf! The room was packed and people were standing in the hall.

Here's a brief update. 

• Mike Woodin - a current board member proposed a policy that would allow single-use bathrooms that were originally intended for trans students as an alternative. 
• The board president and majority vote of 6 -3 voted No to discuss and tabled it for the next committee meeting on Sept 10.   We need you there! 
• The board was put on public notice and handed a letter that was sent to them last week by Moms for Liberty informing them of Avon Grove Students'' inclusion and protection in the Title IX lawsuit. The board and attorney did not disclose or acknowledge that they had received this communication at the beginning of the meeting. 
• The letter also informs them that they violate the PA Constitution if they continue to allow trans students in bath/locker rooms that do not align with their biological sex and how they identify.  

What does this mean?

Based on last night's meeting, we have a bumpy road ahead of us and need your continued engagement and support for ALL students.  We need parents and community members to attend the Policy Committee meeting, on Sept 10 @6 PM in the AG Intermediate School.
