Dear HYBE, Big Hit Music, and BTS,

For over a decade, BTS has shown us what it means to value fans. You've built something bigger than music; you've built a family called ARMY. Your music means so much to each and every one of us. We've stood with you through everything and we know you've always stood with us.

That's why we're asking for your help now.

Ticketmaster's current practices prevent dedicated ARMY from seeing BTS. Dynamic "Platinum" Pricing inflates costs during sales, with prices sometimes reaching $5,000. Reseller markup lets scalpers buy tickets and resell at hundreds or thousands above face value.

We're grateful for past efforts like ARMY Membership limits and ticket caps. These show you care. But scalpers buy multiple $25 memberships and still profit massively from reselling.

Other major artists are protecting their fans successfully. Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Oasis opted out of dynamic pricing. Billie Eilish, Pearl Jam, and The Cure use Face Value Exchange, capping all resales at original prices. Ticketmaster has offered Face Value Exchange since 2019 for artists who opt in before sales.

Ticketmaster is facing serious legal challenges on their pricing policies worldwide. In the US, they're dealing with a DOJ lawsuit from 40 states and an FTC lawsuit for deceptive pricing. The UK investigation secured transparency commitments. The EU has formal complaints over misleading pricing.

We, the undersigned ARMY, respectfully ask HYBE, Big Hit Music, and BTS to protect ARMY by 

1. Opting out of dynamic "platinum" pricing in all regions (US, UK, Europe, Asia) and 
2. Requiring Face Value Exchange to cap resales at original prices. 

These are standard Ticketmaster options. There are no new systems needed, just the decision to prioritize ARMY.

BTS taught us to love ourselves and that our voices matter. We're not asking for special treatment. We're asking for fairness - for a chance to see artists who changed our lives without choosing between rent and tickets, without being shut out by scalpers who see BTS as profit instead of seven people who poured their hearts into music.

ARMY spans every country and economic background. Some of us have saved for years. Some will never get another chance to see BTS perform together. We deserve a fair shot at being there.

Thank you for seeing us, hearing us, and valuing us all these years. We're asking you to stand with us one more time.
