This consultation exercise is likely to be presented by Story Homes as part of the eventual planning application in a manner that is favourable from the developer's perspective.
I would encourage you to make your concerns known to the developer.
Please be aware that your comment on the consultation site will not be counted as an official objection to the planning application.
Once the planning application is made I will provide another update to advise how you can make an official objection to South Tyneside Council Planning Department.

Dear ELG
I intend to object to any planning application you may submit to South Tyneside Council for these 205 largely unaffordable home to be built in Mill Lane Whitburn.
The land is protected green belt.
There is not the infrastructure available locally to deal with the extra traffic generated by this development. This development will create extra demands on healthcare and school places and there is insufficient sewage collection capacity.
We are plagued with sewage pollution at Whitburn and this development will exacerbate the problem.
