Hello everyone, 

We will be meeting with the Forest Service this coming week to share our concerns about the current Bountiful trail project. We would love to add your voice to our conversation. Please message us with your thoughts and how you’d like to see the current trail project change. 

We will be asking for hiker-only trails to be designated. We also want the 4 current hiker trails to be maintained better by fixing foot bridges and not widening the trails for bikers. These trails include Holbrook Canyon, Kenny Trail, Millcreek Trail (that leads to Burro Mine, trailhead at Mueller Park Picnic Area) and Stone Creek Trail (trailhead by the “B”). According to our local hiking expert, Aubrey Guyyn, these are true hiking trails and should be maintained as such. We believe the taxpayer dollars that funds this project should be used for hiker trail maintenance.
