Protect All Children Through Classroom Cameras: Every Child. Every Classroom. Every School
The Issue
OUR MESSAGE IS SIMPLE Every child deserves protection. Every child deserves accountability. Every child deserves transparency. Every child deserves the truth. No Child's Protection Should Ever Be Left On The Table For Any Reason. Not Optional. Not Negotiable. Not Questionable. We are calling for classroom cameras to become the standard of protection, transparency, accountability, and truth for every child. This is not about surveillance. This is about protection. This is about transparency. This is about accountability. This is about trust. A classroom camera does not choose sides. A classroom camera tells the whole story. As a mother of five children, including three non-verbal autistic sons, I understand firsthand what it means to place your trust in a school every single day. Many classrooms, hallways, buses, and entrances already have cameras. Yet the place where children spend most of their day—the classroom itself—often remains unwitnessed. When incidents occur, families, educators, administrators, and students are often left relying on conflicting accounts, incomplete information, and unanswered questions. Classroom cameras help protect everyone. They protect students. They protect teachers. They protect support staff. They protect schools. Most importantly, they help provide transparency, accountability, and truth. For children who cannot fully communicate what happened during their day, a camera can become an important layer of protection. When a child cannot speak, the camera becomes their voice. We are calling for classroom cameras to become the standard—not the exception—in schools. Every Child. Every Classroom. Every School. Protect All Children Through Classroom Cameras.
