Protect ALL Aggies: Demand Sanctuary & Support at Texas A&M
The Issue

In light of Trump’s Executive Order onslaught designed to separate and destroy families and communities across the country, we, the students of Texas A&M, demand our University uphold the values and merits of being an Aggie, ensuring protection and support for the thousands of students affected by the recent directive ordered on Jan. 21.
These policies serve to increase the unimaginable anxiety, fear, and uncertainty among undocumented students and university employees, DACA recipients, and those from mixed-status families, threatening their ability to pursue the education and the opportunities this institution offers.
We call on the university administration to enact policies that safeguard student rights, expand support systems for those affected by these directives, and prevent unnecessary collaboration with federal immigration agencies that terrorize and jeopardize the future of thousands of Aggies and our communities.

We demand that Texas A&M University DEFINE, NOTIFY, AND EDUCATE:
1. Define access policies of all locations on campus.
2. Notify students, faculty, and staff of Immigration Enforcement (ICE or otherwise) on or near campus.
3. Educate students, faculty, and staff on their rights and provide resources and legal support.
4. Implement Policies to Limit ICE Access on Campus.
