On April 3rd, 2026, Global News Edmonton aired a segment on the Stop ADAP Save AISH paper petition (5,674 signatures) being delivered to the Alberta Legislature on March 30th, 2026. The 97-second broadcast included a camera shot of the online petition displayed on my laptop, which had reached 7,384 signatures at the time.

The Stop ADAP Save AISH paper petition, with its 5,674 signatures, will be tabled in the Alberta Legislature on Tuesday, April 14th, likely shortly after 1:30 PM by MLA Sharif Haji (Edmonton-Decore).

MLA Sharif Haji will also inform members of the Legislature that an online petition has received over 7,600 signatures. While the online petition is not formally recognized by the Legislature, it provides additional evidence of public support to halt the transition of AISH recipients into the proposed ADAP program.

Members of the public may attend the Alberta Legislature and sit in the Public Gallery after 1:30 PM on Tuesday, April 14th to show their support.
