Families of children with Autism in Vermont ,  already deal with so much every day appointments, therapy, school, medical needs, and the endless balancing act of raising children with special needs. Now Vermont Medicaid is moving forward with changes that could take away access to ABA therapy for kids who rely on it. These new rules around BCBA supervision could cut therapy hours, create longer waitlists, and disrupt essential care for our children.

This is not just policy. This is our children’s futures. They deserve the support they need to learn, grow, and thrive and it’s wrong that families have to fight even harder to keep what our kids already depend on. If this goes through, the ripple effect will impact families all over the state. We cannot stay silent. We cannot let this happen.
