Syufy Enterprises plans to replace it with a sprawling development that includes 1,914 residential units across 8 towering buildings, a massive fitness center, and extensive commercial space.

This proposed development not only threatens to erase a piece of our community's history but also stands to significantly alter the landscape and character of the area. The removal of 329 trees is particularly alarming, as these trees contribute to the environmental health and aesthetic beauty of our neighborhood. Once gone, they cannot easily be replaced, and we risk turning our unique community space into yet another concrete jungle.

There are numerous vacant lots and underutilized areas that could be considered for such an extensive project, without sacrificing a well-loved community space.
