In 2010, Leonard provided a name to the Mobile Police Department of who he believed committed this crime.  Officer Quinnie testified at trial that no one besides Leonard was investigated as a suspect.

In 2023, here we are, full circle.  As you know, in February, Judge Jay A. York of the Mobile County Circuit Court heard our witnesses testify that the same person Leonard provided during his interrogation is the one who actually took the victim's life - not Leonard.  Our licensed investigator even uncovered a lengthy record on this man.

As of July 26, 2023, both briefs requested by Judge York have been filed, and we are now awaiting his decision as to whether Leonard will be granted a brand new trial.  You and the grace and favor of God have gotten us to this point, but we still need you more than ever.  Please continue sharing my husband's petition, especially with those who have organizations, as well as those who have influence over news and magazine outlets.

I pray the next Update I send will be to announce that Leonard is coming home and that the person responsible for all of this was held accountable.
