Hi, everyone. I am at a loss for words for how to even say thank you and express gratitude for my beautiful husband's petition crossing the 5,000 mark. Now that I have time to sit and write this update, we are nearing 5,300 signatures!! All of your support could not be gaining momentum at a better time. Leonard's home State of Alabama recently made news headlines, due to a council member using a racial slur against an African American woman and unapologetically, at that. Things like this definitely make me pause and wonder what was going through the minds of the people who wrongfully investigated and prosecuted Leonard's case in Mobile, Alabama. That events such as this still occur in Alabama in the year 2021 proves that we still have a lot to accomplish together.
