Earlier this week, I froze as I read the content of a petition on change.org for Dennis Morgan Hicks. The Mobile Police Department also did a very inadequate front end investigation in his murder case and an innocent 3-year-old child, who was not even at the crime scene, was coached into repeating a false accusation against Dennis. He is now on death row at Holman. I immediately made the connection between his case and how a four-year-old baby, with a speech and developmental disability, was coached, not only by the perpetrator, but by the Mobile Police Department, into giving a false statement against Leonard. Thank you for helping us hold Mobile, Alabama accountable. They are in desperate need of a Conviction Integrity Unit. We won't be silenced, until men like my husband and Dennis see justice.
