Thanks to all 1,806 of you, who chose to stand with objective evidence and truth, we are now within reach of 2,000 signatures. Leonard and I would love to send this to the judge overseeing his case, as well as the State, with at least 5,000 signatures. Leonard and I humbly ask that you consider sharing his story and petition with your friends, family and fellow criminal justice reform advocates via e-mail and by posting to your social media platforms.
I've included a quote from Leonard, which hits deep when it comes to every case of wrongful conviction. Often, law enforcement, prosecutors and juries take the quickest route, by filling in the blanks of what should make sense, rather than efficiently exploring all facts and evidence. This practice has far-reaching ramifications, as families of victims cannot possibly obtain the truth they need for closure and innocent men and women suffer, on numerous levels, from being wrongfully incarcerated. Please continue signing, sharing and posting. In doing so, you shine a light and give hope to an innocent man in prison, but also bring awareness to the fact that our country is in desperate need of criminal justice reform.
