Prosecute Those Involved in the Abduction and Abuse of Cats in Vancouver, WA
The Issue
As a devoted cat parent, I am deeply disturbed by the ongoing atrocities happening right here in our city of Vancouver, WA. A group of individuals are reportedly stealing cats, confining them in backpacks to prevent escape and subjecting them to cruel treatment including tasing. This is not just an isolated incident but a systematic operation involving multiple people.
The stolen cats are being dumped around 131st at Mill Plain Blvd by McDonald's. There is also information about a semi-truck driver who steals these innocent creatures from one city only to dump them in another for further abuse. These helpless animals are subjected to torment almost every night.
Animal cruelty is not just morally repugnant but also illegal under Washington State law (RCW 16.52). Yet these heinous acts continue unabated due to lack of enforcement and prosecution.
We need immediate action from local law enforcement agencies and animal welfare organizations to investigate this matter thoroughly and bring those responsible to justice. We urge the City Council of Vancouver, WA, along with local police departments, animal control services and prosecutors' offices to take this issue seriously.
By signing this petition you're calling for swift action against these perpetrators – let's ensure that our beloved feline friends can live safely without fear of abduction or abuse. Please sign this petition now!
Animal Abuse and Human Abuse: Partners in Crime
Acts of cruelty to animals are not mere indications of a minor personality flaw in the abuser; they are symptomatic of a deep mental disturbance. Research in psychology and criminology shows that people who commit acts of cruelty to animals don’t stop there—many of them move on to their fellow humans. “Murderers … very often start out by killing and torturing animals as kids,” says Robert K. Ressler, who developed profiles of serial killers for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).1
Sunbury/Macedon Ranges Leader, 26 Apr. 2005.
Animal Cruelty; Common in Many Killers
Ruth Larson, “Animal Cruelty May Be a Warning. Often Precedes Harm to Humans,” The Washington Times, 23 Jun. 1998.

And so with this being said by "Robert Kessler"whom developed serial killer profiles for ' THE FBI', we know that this isn't going to stop with these people, they go constantly without the desire to stop or even slow down.
Once they begin animal cruelty and then graduating to killing them for a time, they all eventually move on to killing other humans.
This has been proved time and time and a few more times again.
As a preventive of this happening to another innocent animal or person may we please seek life without possible parole for cruelty with heinous death acts that led to their death be punishable in the same manner as the act they committed.
Let's cut the crap,THERE IS NO REHABILITATING THESE PEOPLE,THEY NEVER STOP, prolonging them to try to function even with treatment does not work, why take a chance while more innocent animals or people die before we realize this is an act of kindness to them and others.
Let's not wait for them to do it again.
My pet is equivalent to being my child, and I can it's safe to say that damn near anyone you meet that has a pet companion will tell you the same thing I just did Everytime.
We're family, they are family, you kill our pets you may as well say ya killed our children.
I'm not volunteering any chance, that's why I'm asking for life with out the possibility for parole for the heinous acts of violence that led to the death of any animal in animal cruelty.
These aren't " our pets",THEY EERE OUR FAMILY MEMBERS.
Thank you for hearing me
