Amar Diarrassouba was hit and killed by a tractor trailer truck driver in East Harlem, New York while walking to school in the morning. We are now learning that the truck should not have been on the street in the first place. We also sadly learned that the driver will not be prosecuted and instead has received "a slap on the wrist" by receiving only a summons. This is completely unacceptable! Not in our city, not in our neighborhoods!!
