Heart-wrenching images and accounts of cruelty inflicted on innocent cats by Irene Lima and Chad Cabes have left a deep, painful mark on my soul. To witness such horror has been upsetting and unbearable, and reminds us of the dark side of humanity which must be confronted. This disgusting couple from Winnipeg need to spend their lives in jail!! 

According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), almost 1 in 4 cases of animal abuse involves cats. These creatures are defenseless and rely on the goodwill of humans for their survival and well-being. It is our collective responsibility to protect them from the likes of Lima and Cabes who have obliterated this covenant of trust and kindness. 

By letting Lima and Cabes walk free, we would not only be enabling the perpetuation of animal abuse but also potentially endangering the lives and safety of individuals in our community. The severity of their cruel actions against cats requires a stern, disciplinary response from our justice system. It's high time they are held accountable.
