Due to the recent over turn of Roe vs Wade, after looking at the effectiveness of current birth control methods it has come to my attention that the most cost effective form of birth control with the highest efficiency rating and the lowest risks in the male vasectomy. 

Currently, birth control for women costs an average of $40,000-$50,000 dollars over her lifetime, comparatively costs for both the original vasectomy and to have it reversed would only cost the individual/government $10,000-$16,000 per procedure (less if the man never decides to have it reversed. 

This solution has the potential to reduce unwanted pregnancies (currently 3.1 million a year in the US) which would reduce medically unnecessary abortions drastically as well as reducing the strain on the foster system. 

The only necessary requirement to get the vasectomy reversed would be a background check for sexual assault and violent crimes. Which can would also help reduce crimes against women.
